If you’ve struggled to find the right support, it can make your challenges feel impossible to resolve. After all, if these experts with all their training couldn’t help, then who could?! This is what I thought - now I help clients with range of techniques that (finally!) helped me.
But how do we tackle a problem like phobia, anxiety, or low self-esteem? First, we look at your journey and where you'd like to be.
Our work begins with a few key ideas - that you can separate yourself from the problem... that your problems are not you. Patterns of behaviour, thoughts and feelings are something you do, and they can change. What happened in the past doesn't determine your future, and the moment you can command is here and now.
Conscious work: we look at the 'recipe card' for your presenting problem. How does it play out in your life? Strategic Psychotherapy gets you thinking differently.
Unconscious work: NLP and hypnosis will help you to make changes on a deeper level. And it's not only about the mind; I can help you to tap into the messages your body is trying to share with you, too.
I'll share strategies to help you build mindfulness and regulate your nervous system. When you begin to manage your responses, you start to feel more confident and in control. Over sessions, you'll build your own 'toolkit' with techniques that work best for you.

How long is each session?
- 60 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
- For most presenting problems I recommend a minimum of three sessions. I respond to your needs, but always aim to help in as few sessions as possible.
Do online sessions work as well as in-person?
- Yes, online sessions are just as effective! And chances are that you'll feel most comfortable in your own home.
What do I need for online sessions?
- A stable internet connection, a quiet room, and a comfortable chair.

My Therapeutic Approach
You are unique – your therapy should be tailored to you! While there are core principles that I work by, my range of modalities allows me to adapt to you.
You’ll learn strategies that you can use in your daily life. Brief, easy to remember tools to help you gain control of your responses and come back to calm.
Combining talk therapy and hypnosis helps align your conscious and unconscious mind. If logic and emotion are at odds, emotion will usually win – without strategies, that is.
Logic is your conscious mind. Emotion and learned responses are your unconscious mind. So, working with both is the pathway effective pathway to sustainable change.
Of course, before we start, I’ll check that my methods suit your specific challenges. For best results, you need to be an active participant!
